Tilman Fertitta, the CEO of the Houston, Inc.-based Landry’s, has entered into an agreement to purchase Leslie Alexander’s NBA Houston Rockets franchise .
Fertitta confirmed the agreement on Twitter, calling it “an honor” to be a part of the NBA:

Mark Berman of KRIV first reported the sale scheduled for Tuesday. Scott Soshnick of Bloomberg confirmed the news, twittering the Rockets will be sold for a record $ 2.2 billion.
